Meet Kim – The Heart Behind Dooley Designs

Dooley Designs by Kim is founded on a passion for creating spaces that are as beautiful as they are functional. After retiring from a rewarding 25-year career as a High School teacher, I turned my lifelong love of design into a profession and have been helping clients transform their homes, offices and many more spaces for the past five years. As an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and the WorkIt Coworking Center, I take pride in building relationships and serving others with creativity, integrity, and attention to detail. My services include space planning, color consulting, furniture selection, kitchen and bathroom design, new construction selections, window treatments, furniture selection and much more.

My goal is to create spaces that are personalized, organized, comfortable, inviting, cozy, and refreshed while making the design process enjoyable and stress-free. My goal is to enhance the beauty and functionality of homes, offices, and other spaces, reflecting each client’s distinct style through thoughtful choices in paint, flooring, lighting, furniture, and decor. I bring compassion, patience, and dedication to every project, ensuring my clients feel heard and delighted with the results. Whether it’s redesigning a kitchen or bathroom, updating light fixtures, or reimagining an entire first floor, no project is too big or too small.

How I Work

Listening is at the heart of my process. By understanding my clients’ needs, I effectively manage tasks, resources, schedules, and budgets—delivering not just stunning spaces, but also relief to those overwhelmed by their design challenges. I provide creative solutions, meet deadlines, and serve clients within a 30-mile radius of the Stillwater community. My diverse portfolio includes residential homes, office spaces, the Prayer Room at the Wesley Foundation, an Airbnb, and seasonal decorations.

Dooley Designs by Kim oversees all phases of an interior design project, from initial planning to final delivery, ensuring it meets client expectations, budget,and deadlines. Kim will coordinate all contractors and suppliers in order for the project to run smoothly and in a timely manner. She will purchase and deliver all design products from furniture to decor. Her attention to detail and quality control reflects her mission of delivering excellence. Her main goal is to take the pressure off her clients and ensure a successful project execution.
